The Essential Biker Romance Guide

Here's a list of what I consider some pretty important romance novels with a biker theme. This list doesn't just pertain to the MC world but includes characters who are bikers as well (i.e. Tate Jackson a la "Sweet Dreams").

IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:
  • Undeniable Series by Madeline Sheehan
 - This series is not for the faint of hear. There's a lot of angst, drama and violence. It's one of those reads where your chest gets tight at certain points in the book because you really feel for the characters. Brace. But it's worth the ride.

  • Sweet Dreams by Kristen Ashley
- The second book in the Colorado Mountain Series takes a spot in my list of all time favorites. I've re-read it countless times and is just as good as the first time I read it. Tate Jackson is among the most beloved alpha male heroes in modern day romance. Take a look if you haven't already.

  • Reaper's Motorcycle Club Series by Joanna Wylde
- Take lots of colorful characters with interesting MC names and a good mixture of drama, action and steam and you've got yourself an amazing series. Joanna Wylde does a great job of creating a world filled with people you cheer for, people you cry over and people you want to stab in the eye.

  • Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley
- The fourth and final book in KA's Dream Man Series does not disappoint. Ms. Ashley keeps creating sexy, confident and protective alphas who manage to ingrain themselves in the fantasies of countless women all over the world. What makes this book even better is a worthy heroine you root for, a supporting cast who leave a memorable impression and a captivating storyline which leaves you clamoring for more.
  • Chaos MC by Kristen Ashley
- This is a series with characters introduced to us in Motorcycle Man so it is important to read that book first before delving into these books. You'll enjoy getting a better insight into the world of the Chaos MC as they try to weave their way through the complicated battle of going legitimate. As expected, there is a huge resistance to Tack's vision of a mostly criminal free enterprise with trouble brewing in the forefront putting their women and family in direct line of fire.
  • The MC Sinners Series by Bella Jewel
- Bella Jewel introduces us to The MC Sinners universe in Hell's Knights where we meet Addison who is recovering from a traumatic life with her mother. After a series of tragic events, she moves in with a father she never knew existed and gets a job tending bar at the MC clubhouse he runs as President. There's a lot of violence and those who cant handle reading about abuse and rape, steer clear. This is definitely darker than KA's bikerverse but it's hot, exciting and one hell of a trip.
  • The Last Riders Series by Jamie Begley
- A series that's not so stressful and angst-filled. If you're looking for a good MC book without the overly stressful dark world of Undeniable and Hell's Knights, this is the series for you. It has a plethora of colorful characters and a good supply of sex, action and funny dialogue. The club is different from other MC's we read about; its members consist of men and women who sex their way into membership. Those who shy away from topics with group sex, exhibitionism, or menage- you're gonna wanna skip this. But I have to say, The Last Riders is one of my favorite reads. I love it and I'm sure most of you will too

  • Bantorus Motorcycle Club Series by Debra Kayn
The first book in this series features one of my all-time favorite female leads! Tori is funny, quirky and smoking hot!!! She parks her traveling coffee shop in the parking lot at Cactus Cove, not fully understanding she's placed herself right in the middle of Bantorus MC property much to the annoyance of club president, Rain Brookshire. This series has everything- it's got intrigue, witty banter, formidable villains, blossoming love and most important of all, its got a bevy of delicious badass bikers. Add this to your TBR, you won't regret it.

  • Death Dwellers MC Series by Kathryn Kelly
- Book 1: Misled
- Book 1.5: Misappropriate
- Book 2: Misunderstood
This series is one of the darker ones out there. There's a whole lot of violence, sex (both consensual and non-consensual), and foul language mixed with raw and emotional pain. There's also a bit of an age difference between our main characters/love interests, if that kind of thing bothers you. But Kathryn Kelly's Death Dwelling universe is cut with a lot of powerful and nail-biting moments which leads to an exhausting, yet engaging read.
  • Angels in Leather (Rebels on Bikes) by Bella Jewel
Angels in Leather is another page turner from Bella Jewel. She has easily become one of the leading writers in the motorcycle club sub genre. This book features a deeply flawed antihero who is actively pursuing the young daughter of his former club president and mentor. It tugs at your senses because there's a conflicting battle of whether to root for our heroine or have her fail in order to see whether this mysterious man is truly her enemy or her savior.
